JuJu Smith-Schuster marked 21st birthday with video games, toast (pics)

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster on Wednesday celebrates his 21st birthday. While many who attain the legal drinking age head out to the bar about midnight the evening before to toast the milestone, the rookie phenom instead opted to simply eat toast … and play video games.

Smith-Schuster first took to Twitter on Tuesday to herald his upcoming big day.

On Wednesday morning, Smith-Schuster then excitedly proclaimed he had turned 21. Of course, his much-celebrated bicycle — which was the source of a whimsical story line a few weeks back — was featured in the tweet.

But what of the hours between the time of Smith-Schuster’s two tweets? Evidence has surfaced that demonstrate Smith-Schuster was remarkably responsible once he officially turned 21. First, images surfaced on Smith-Schuster’s Snapchat that showed him enjoying some video game action.

And then, Smith-Schuster documented his “Birthday Meal”: Toast (via Steelers Depot).

Looks pretty bland. Hopefully, Smith-Schuster livened that toast up a bit with some peanut butter, jam, honey, marmalade,  something.

There is one thing, however, Smith-Schuster would not be indulging in, apparently, on his 21st birthday or any other time, for that matter: Booze

“Nah man, I don’t drink or smoke or do any of that,” Smith-Schuster recently told Rich Eisen. “I stay clean. Stay humble, man. Gotta keep playing and getting better.”

That has to be music to the ears of the Steelers organization and the team’s fans, that’s for sure.
