Astros’ Brad Peacock celebrates World Series win with Backstreet Boys (pics)
The Houston Astros undoubtedly are still basking in the afterglow of their World Series triumph, making the scene and celebrating the remarkable achievement by any means necessary. For Astros pitcher Brad Peacock, said revelry involved hanging out last weekend with none other than the … Backstreet Boys?
The seminal boy band took their official Twitter account to show Peacock eagerly anticipating attending their concert in Las Vegas.
Shoutout to @astros @BradPeacock41 for celebrating with us at #BSBVegas this weekend! Here’s to your big win! pic.twitter.com/Kzq730ppHY

Peacock later took to Twitter himself to document what appears to be a meet-and-greet between himself, his wife and the Backstreet Boys.
Thank you to the @backstreetboys for everything this weekend and for making my wife’s dream come true! pic.twitter.com/HkFo9XzIUf

It merits noting that there is some connection between the Backstreet Boys and the Astros’ run to a World Series title. The band actually gave a shout out to Jose Altuve and the Astros before Game 6, footage of which was posted to Instagram by Altuve himself.
Even better? Footage from 2016 of Altuve, as dug out of the vault by Big League Stew, singing the Backstreet ballad, “I Want It That Way.”
Wow. Apparently, when it comes to the Astros, Backstreet’s back to have the Astros’ back, alright. Or something.
Although if video doesn’t surface of Peacock passionately singing along during the concert to the aforementioned classic, “I Want It That Way,” well, what was the point of attending the show in the first place, right?
