Kristaps Porzingis embraces the unicorn for Halloween (pics)
Kristaps Porzingis admitted he was initially confused when Kevin Durant originally bestowed the moniker “unicorn” upon him. But on Halloween, the New York Knicks superstar fully embraced the unique nickname.
Images have surfaced of Porzingis fully regaled in a unicorn mask that is resplendent with the customary horn and embellished with a rainbow mane.

A unicorn playing ping-pong? Now that’s something.
On a more serious note, Porzingis is playing out of his mind thus far this season. The 7-foot-3 Latvian has led the Knicks to a respectable 3-3 record. Porzingis, after Monday’s 116-110 victory over the Nuggets — a game in which he scored a game-high 38 points — said he gets the Knicks going by “just playing my game.”
If averaging 29.3 points (on 47.8 percent shooting), 8.3 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game is Porzingis simply playing his game, perhaps the Knicks do indeed have a unicorn on their hands. Whatever that means.
