Tom Brady jokingly hints at new book about Gillette Stadium fog (pic)

Tom Brady already has one book under his belt and on Tuesday joked how the thick fog that descended upon Gillette Stadium Sunday night may have inspired him to write another one.

A thick layer of fog blanketed Gillette Stadium during the New England Patriots’ 23-7 throttling of the Atlanta Falcons, making for one of the more surreal scenes in recent NFL history.

Brady, one of the NFL’s wittiest wisenheimers on social media, posted an image of a proposed title and cover of a new children’s book.

Sunday night’s game has inspired me to pen my second book!

Brady of course added writer to his already-impressive résumé with the publication earlier this year of “The TB12 Method: How to Achieve a Lifetime of Sustained Peak Performance.” Much has been made of the book, which was touted as an “oversized, heavily illustrated, revealing yet deeply practical”  book that will “become an essential source for the way athletes of all ages live and train” in a press release.

While “The TB12 Method” may in fact deserve such accolades, there’s a good chance “Cloudy With A Chance of Touchdowns” would earn even more critical and cultural acclaim. And who knows? Perhaps Dwyane Wade will get his name spelled correctly this time around should Brady personalize a book for him again.

And let’s just say “Cloudy With A Chance of Touchdowns” may make for a better Christmastime stocking stuffer for Bill Belichick, who didn’t seem too enthused about “The TB12 Method.”
