Odell Beckham on Instagram post-surgery: ‘I’ll be back better than ever’
Odell Beckham Jr. took to Instagram Tuesday morning following surgery to demonstrate a positive outlook on his NFL future following Sunday’s season-ending injury, writing he’ll “be back better than ever.”
The New York Giants wide receiver posted a selfie from his hospital bed at Manhattan’s Hospital for Special Surgery following a procedure Monday night to repair a left ankle fracture.
“Thank u all for your prayers,” Beckham wrote. “You better believe I’ll be back better than ever. God Speed.”
Beckham was placed on injured reserve Monday following the injury suffered during the Giants’ 27-22 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, which dropped the downward-spiraling squad to an unrecoverable 0-5.

It is expected that the Giants wide receiver, who finished his truncated season with 25 receptions, 402 yards and three touchdowns in four games, will make a full recovery.
