D.J. Swearinger talks smack about big hit on Marshawn Lynch (vid)
Washington Redskins safety D.J. Swearinger took to social media Monday to talk some serious smack about his big hit on Marshawn Lynch during Sunday’s 27-10 victory.
Swearinger delivered a punishing blow on Lynch during a carry in the early in the third quarter. The hard-hitting safety made sure to post video of the play as evidence.
Naturally, Swearinger also made sure to troll Lynch over the veteran running back’s affinity for Skittles in his smack talk.
Swearinger wasn’t finished with his social media bravado by calling out Lynch, however. The safety also posted an image of himself towering over Raiders wide receiver Amari Cooper. Swearinger made sure to mention how fellow Washington cornerback Josh Norman mentioned how Cooper apparently boasted about how he’d go for 200 yards against the Redskins secondary.
In other words, it’s safe to say that Swearinger is feeling pretty good about Washington’s big win over the Raiders at FedEx Field. Although that might be something of an understatement given his social media activity on Monday.
