Dwyane Wade rips ‘NBA 2K18’ rating him lower than LeBron James
Dwyane Wade and LeBron James of course are best of buddies and enjoy something akin to a sibling-like rivalry. The friendly-but-competitive banter that often occurs between the two has now hit the realm of video games, thanks to D-Wade.
The Chicago Bulls superstar took to Twitter Tuesday night to bemoan how his player rating in “NBA 2K18” is substantially lower than his longtime pal’s.
My face says it all haha. Here’s the overall rating for @KingJames and I for 17-18 season @NBA2K @Ronnie2K #NBA2K18 #2kFirstLook pic.twitter.com/yuumLI1vdi

As Wade documents in his tweet, his overall rating landed at 84 while James’ is way up at 97, outranking fellow superstars Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard and Stephen Curry.
It’s difficult to argue with “NBA 2K18” programmers over their decision to rate James vastly higher than Wade. But it’s amusing that Wade actually took the time to complain about it, although his “anger” over it is likely in jest.
Although it warrants mention that Wade isn’t the only NBA star to take issue with their player rating in the soon-to-be-released video game.
