Braves minor leaguer takes comical tumble after strikeout (vid)
An Atlanta Braves minor league baseball player is generating some buzz on the Internet for something that occurred during a game he presumably wished never happened.
Gwinnett Braves right fielder Xavier Avery struck out swinging during the sixth inning in a recent game against the Norfolk Tides. Avery was trying to check his swing on a high and tight pitch from Tides pitcher Chris Lee and his momentum ultimately led to him uncontrollably stumbling out of the batter’s box before ultimately going down completely several feet away.
Avery’s teammate Micah Johnson tweeted out footage the comically embarrassing tumble.

Oof. Odds are good that Avery isn’t too happy with Johnson over the airing of this unfortunate incident. Although we can’t blame Johnson for tweeting out footage of such a remarkably awkward scene.
