Jaguars trolled mercilessly on Twitter after ill-fated GIF request
The Jacksonville Jaguars were hailed last summer as an up-and-coming team poised to do great things in the season that followed. Of course, things didn’t play out as planned or expected, as a 5-11 record served as the ultimate disappointment.
Once again, there is great hope that under the new regime of executive vice president for football operations Tom Coughlin and new head coach Doug Marrone that the Jaguars will finally make good on preseason forecasts and realize their predicted potential.
But that doesn’t mean the Jaguars organization have their fans fully on-board just yet. The team took to Twitter Thursday to ask fans to upload GIFs that illustrate their excitement for Jaguars training camp.

Suffice to say, there were a fair share of social media wisenheimers more than happy to use the request to savagely troll the Jaguars.

Oof.
It’s understandable that Jaguars fans are hesitant to jump on the bandwagon just yet. After all, they’ve been burned in the past by doing just that. And said fans made it clear there remains some trepidation on their part by posting the above hilarious Twitter missives.
But hey, there’s always next (or this) season, right?
