Tom Brady tops QBs in Madden NFL 18 with perfect 99 rating

Yet another accolade for Tom Brady has arrived via the announcement he tops all quarterbacks with a perfect 99 rating in the upcoming Madden NFL 18.

EA Sports had a little fun with Brady’s top-notch rating when explaining the reasoning behind the 99.

Wait, do you hear that? That’s the silence of Brady’s critics. He’s the G.O.A.T. You get to be named that after winning five Super Bowl rings, the most recent of which was won after the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history. For that, he’s earned his spot in the coveted Club 99. Inside sources here at EA say that this was Brady’s biggest goal all along. I’m basing that on a complete lack of inside sources though, and have zero evidence to support that theory.

It’s hard to argue with Brady sitting atop the QB ratings in Madden NFL 18. Although there are sure to be naysayers, which comes with the territory of being constantly referred to at the G.O.A.T.

Rounding out the top 5 QBs (in order) are Green Bay Packers gunslinger Aaron Rodgers (98 rating), Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan (96), New Orleans Saints signal-caller Drew Brees (92) and Pittsburgh Steelers veteran Ben Roethlisberger (91).

But when it comes to being king of the quarterbacking mountain — at least in video game form and arguably in real life — it’s all about Tom Brady.

One has to wonder if Brady will greet his inclusion in the coveted “Club 99” with the same level of excitement he’s bringing to training camp. If not, there’s always that Massachusetts corn maze.
