LeBron James blasts Kyrie Irving reports with #NotFacts tweets

LeBron James continued his prolific recent run on social media with two tweets that seemingly blast a recent report concerning the deterioration of his relationship with Kyrie Irving and his eagerness to see his Cavaliers teammate run out of Cleveland.

James took to Twitter Tuesday morning amid a seemingly endless sequence of developments, rumor, innuendo and speculation concerning Irving’s future after reports surfaced late last week about his trade request.

James knows a thing or two about arguably revealing a lot while expressing very little. And posting cryptic tweets have long been a key item in James’ social media toolbox.

In this instance, however, James took a specific report straight on with a #NotFacts hashtag concerning a SLAM Magazine report suggesting he’s “eager” to see Irving leave the Cavaliers.

James also blasted another SLAM Magazine report that alleges he would be “tempted to beat [Irving’s] ass.”

This isn’t the first time in recent days that James has responded to the Irving drama. Although the previous instance was more in line with his cryptic tendencies.

It merits mentioning that SLAM Magazine isn’t the only reputable media outlet reporting about James’ purported desire to part ways with Irving. But as it stands, it’s clear James isn’t happy with the current tone of current reporting on all the Irving drama. Heck, even NBA commissioner Adam Silver referred to the Irving story “upsetting.”

Whether or not what’s being reported is accurate, though, may be another story entirely.
