Tom Brady on Pats training camp: ‘It feels so good to be baaaaaaaaack’ (pic)

Tom Brady clearly is ready to get things going at training camp, proclaiming on social media how “[i]t feels so good to be baaaaaaaaack.”

The New England Patriots quarterback took to Instagram early Monday morning to articulate his eagerness to get the ball rolling on yet another defense of a Super Bowl championship. And the fact that Patriots camp doesn’t officially open until Thursday and Brady is already in Foxborough only showcases his eagerness that much more.

It’s easy to see why Brady is so amped up about the 2017 campaign. After a historic comeback victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI, the Patriots beefed up their-already championship-caliber lineup with significant upgrades on both sides of the ball, highlighted by the acquisitions of cornerback Stephon Gilmore and wide receiver Brandin Cooks.

That said, it’s not like the Patriots loading up on more talent and winning the Super Bowl likely had any impact on both Brady’s excitement. Nor has the Patriots’ impressive offseason altered in any way how Brady approaches his time off.

While Brady always makes sure to get in some relaxation time with Gisele and the kids, Brady is renowned for his complete commitment to offseason workouts to ensure he’s sufficiently prepared — both physically and mentally — when training camp opens.

And now, even at the age of 39, Brady cannot wait to get the arduous and sometimes grueling experience that is training camp rolling.
