Ravens’ Brandon Williams busts out ‘The Carlton’ at London fan forum (vid)

The Baltimore Ravens will head across the pond this fall for a Week 3 showdown against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London. And what better way to get the locals fired up for some NFL football than having a 340-pound defensive lineman bust out some spectacular dance moves?

Ravens run-stuffer Brandon Williams — the NFL’s highest paid nose tackle — took part in a fan forum in London this week and while there demonstrated some nimbleness while breaking out “The Carlton” dance popularized by Alfonso Ribeiro on “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.”

And it was, suffice to say, mighty impressive and delightfully entertaining.

“Had to go out and do the ‘Carlton,'” Williams said, via ESPN. “Oh yeah, it’s like one of my go-to moves. So once I get a sack, I might have to hit that.”

Interestingly, this isn’t even the first time in recent weeks that the “Fresh Prince” has crossed over into the NFL (more on that here).

As noted, Williams is primarily a run-stopping force on the Ravens defensive line, not a sack-master, having only notched 4.5 quarterback takedowns during his four-year NFL career. But he has said he hopes to better develop that part of his game this coming season.

And if so? Watch out. Given how the NFL apparently will ease up on coming down on player celebrations, look for Williams to bust out “The Carlton” a handful of times in 2017.
