Tom Brady to release ‘The TB12 Method’ book in September

Tom Brady will expand his considerable, multifaceted empire in September with the release of a new book which is being touted as an “athlete’s bible” by the publisher.

In a press release issued Thursday, Simon & Schuster announced the upcoming release of the “TB12 Method: How to Achieve a Lifetime of Sustained Peak Performance.” The book will be available in conventional hardcover format as well as in digital and audio versions as well, per a Pro Football Talk report.

The “oversized, heavily illustrated, revealing yet deeply practical” book will focus on the approaches to training, nutrition and overall well-being that Brady has developed over the years. It will also include “step-by-step action steps” designed for readers to use in order to increase their own productivity in a way similar to the Patriots quarterback.

“We expect this book to become an essential source for the way athletes of all ages live and train, whether they are in high school or in retirement,” said Jonathan Karp, president and publisher of Simon & Schuster. “The fact that Tom Brady is the greatest quarterback of all time gives him the authority to write this book — but the fact that the principles that he’s espousing go well beyond sports is one of the reasons readers are going to pay close attention to his message.”

Brady without question goes to great lengths to enhance his personal brand, with many of it coming under the TB12 umbrella. A known practitioner of the “Treat a Body as a Temple” philosophy, Brady’s new book obviously will provide an inside look on his workout and dietary regiment.

The New England Patriots quarterback previously released a cookbook touting his rigid and strict diet that retailed for a whopping $200 and was tremendously popular. He also released a line of TB12 vegan snack packs in 2016 that despite the price of $50, sold out immediately.

It will be interesting to see the reception Brady’s “athlete’s bible” receives. But given the tremendous success of pretty much anything he touches or puts his name on or brands as “TB12,” odds are it will be a bestseller.
