Saints cancel OTAs to go on New Orleans scavenger hunt (pics/vid)
The New Orleans Saints canceled Wednesday’s OTA session and instead opted to go on a team-wide scavenger hunt through its home city.
While a team spokesperson declined to comment on the switch-up on plans, the social media activity of Saints players Chase Daniel and Cameron Jordan, per theĀ New Orleans Times Picayune, appeared to confirm some kind of scavenger hunt skullduggery was occurring, although the posts have since been taken down.
Some keen-eyed Saints fans out and about Wednesday, however, spotted Saints players roving the city and mentioned the sightings on social media, with some posting photographic evidence on Twitter.

The Saints of course aren’t the first team to skip out on an OTA session to engage in some out-of-the-box, team-building exercises. The Pittsburgh Steelers just this week did the same, although Mike Tomlin instead opted for a trip to Dave & Buster’s, which sounds pretty fun in its own right.
