Elvis Andrus utilizes Rangers’ day off Thursday to get married (pic)
The Texas Rangers enjoyed a rare day off Thursday and have only three more days off the entire month of June. To say Elvis Andrus took advantage of the free time to tie up one very loose end in his personal life would be an understatement: He got married.
The Rangers shortstop took to social media to proudly announce he and fiancée Cori Febles had wed.
It’s been an eventful several months for Andrus and the new bride. The two became engaged in December in a romantic scene.
And then just last month the engaged couple announced they were expecting.
Suffice to say, the newly married couple have enjoyed a joyous handful of months. And let’s just say Andrus’ professional life is going as well as his personal life, as the shortstop is currently on a seven-game hitting streak where he’s batting .451 with two home runs, eight RBI and eight runs scored. Not too shabby.
But most of all, congrats to the happy couple.
