Adrian Peterson’s social media profile pics feature him in Saints gear
Adrian Peterson on Tuesday was officially inked to a deal by the New Orleans Saints. And the veteran running back’s social media accounts have been updated showcase his new NFL team.
Peterson’s Twitter account now features a Photoshop of the running back in a white Saints jersey wearing No. 28 as the profile pic.
And over on Instagram, another Photoshopped image celebrates Peterson’s new team, only this time the running back is rocking Saints’ black jersey scheme.
But the social media activity didn’t end there, as Peterson on Tuesday night provided an update for the first time since his signing with the Saints became official.
In a video posted to both Twitter and Instagram, Peterson is shown putting in an intense workout.

While the social media activity doesn’t explicitly mention the Saints, the timing of it all couldn’t be plainer given the events earlier in the day.
Peterson and the Saints agreed to terms Tuesday on a two-year deal worth $7 million with added incentives. Reports suggest Peterson will play a complimentary role to Mark Ingram in the Saints backfield.
Interestingly, the longtime Minnesota Vikings running back will get a chance to see his former team right out of the gate as the Saints and Vikings meet on “Monday Night Football” in Week 1 on Sept. 11 at U.S. Bank Stadium.
