LeBron James praises wife Savannah on International Women’s Day (pic)

LeBron James continued to publicly praise wife Savannah with a heartfelt Instagram post hours before the start of Wednesday’s International Women’s Day.

The Cleveland Cavaliers superstar posted a photograph Tuesday night of the couple taken earlier this week at a charity event in Akron. The post praises Savannah as someone who embodies the “spirit of the modern woman.”

“Mrs. James!!!” the post reads before a sequence of emojis. “Wife, mother, businesswoman, philanthropist… you embody the spirit of the modern woman. I am so proud of you & proud to be your side kick (sic).”

James’ latest expression of admiration for his wife comes only days after he expressed regret how his pursuit of greatness caused Savannah to be confronted with hardships.

“… I’ve at times lost the fact of how important you are to this whole thing,” James said in a pat on “Road Trippin,” a podcast on his “Uninterrupted” multimedia network. “… I want you to understand that along this journey while I’m playing this game there will be times that I lose the fact of how important you and my three kids are – my babies are.’”

James and Savannah of course were high school sweethearts and were married on Dec. 31, 2011. They are the parents to three children: LeBron James Jr., Bryce Maximus James and Zhuri James.

Suffice to say, James has made it abundantly clear this week that he is extremely devoted to his longtime partner, grateful for her sacrifices and very proud of what she has accomplished in her own right.
