Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins looked to be enjoying themselves Tuesday morning as the New Orleans Pelicans teammates served a honorary grand marshals for the Zulu parade during Mardi Gras.

The Pelicans took to Twitter to showcase the superstars’ important role.

Additional photos have been surfacing on social media highlighting the two Pelicans’ stars soaking up the Mardi Gras scene as they tossed beds and waved to revelers lining the parade route.

While Cousins and Davis clearly enjoyed themselves at Mardi Gras, their new partnership on the court hasn’t paid any dividends just yet, at least in the win/loss column.

Since Cousins was acquired last week in a blockbuster trade with the Sacramento Kings, the Pelicans have gone 0-3. The team will seek its first victory of the Cousins-Davis era with a Wednesday showdown with the Detroit Pistons at Smoothie King Center.
