Lions long-snapper Jimmy Landes snaps football underneath camel (vid)

Detroit Lions long-snapper Jimmy Landes created considerable attention for himself on social media by creating a trick-snap video during his college career. Now, Landes has released another interesting video showcasing his talents. The exotic locale only heightens the impressiveness, as does the nature of said trick.

Landes, currently on vacation in Jordan, posted video this week of himself snapping a football underneath a camel, for some reason.

There you have it.

Landes hopes to enjoy a better second pro season after a disappointing rookie campaign that never allowed his NFL career truly get underway. After getting drafted in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Lions, the former Baylor Bear landed on injured reserve in late August.

Speaking of his time at Baylor, that was when Landes cultivated his affinity for the long-snap trick-shot. Inspired by Dude Perfect, Landes created an impressive video where he showed off his skills where he snapped a ball from the top of McLane Stadium into a pylon-filled garbage can.

It apparently required 35 attempts to nail the stadium trick-shot. No word, though, on how many takes were required for Landes to successfully snap the football cleanly through the undercarriage of the camel.
