“We will be expecting our third little Romo offspring this August,” Candice said on KTCK 96.7 FM/1310 AM The Ticket, via The Dallas Morning News.
The Romos have two sons, Hawkins Crawford Romo, born on April 9, 2012, and Rivers Romo, born on March 18, 2014.
The exciting family news obviously comes at a time of professional uncertainty for Romo. The veteran quarterback’s career with the Dallas Cowboys is all but over for all intents and purposes, with the only decision for the team remaining is whether to cut Romo or trade him. Retaining Romo next season would cost the team a whopping $24 million, an obviously untenable sum to pay a backup quarterback.
All things considered, it should be a pretty busy time for the Romos over the next handful of months. But one thing is almost certain: The Dallas area won’t be the first home for the Romos’ third child, unlike the first two.
