Tom Brady trolls himself for missed tackle in Super Bowl LI (pics)
Things couldn’t have been going worse for the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LI when Atlanta Falcons cornerback Robert Alford returned a Tom Brady interception 82 yards for a touchdown to take a commanding 21-0 lead.
Brady actually had a shot at tackling Alford but came up short as the speedy corner whizzed by his diving attempt.

While it was a dire moment that seemingly spelled doom for the Patriots, it was not to be as the Falcons inexplicably blew a 25-point lead and lost in overtime. With another Super Bowl title in hand, Brady not surprisingly can look back on the play now with a sense of self-deprecating humor.
A known wisenheimer on social media, particularly on Facebook, Brady took to Instagram Tuesday morning to troll himself over the missed tackle.
Brady first posted a pic of himself in pursuit of Alford, writing, “I got this.”
Brady followed that post with another photograph showing him whiffing on taking down Alford.
Nothing like winning another Super Bowl championship to make something like this play seem amusing in hindsight.
