Joel Embiid gets down with Sixers Dancers after win over Knicks (vid)
Joel Embiid not only is quickly becoming one of the NBA’s biggest young stars, he just might be one of the most charismatic as well.
The Philadelphia 76ers center let it all hang out while celebrating Wednesday’s 98-97 victory over the New York Knicks by busting a move alongside the team’s Sixers Dancers.

Sweet moves. Trust “The Process” indeed.
Embiid and the Sixers not surprisingly were in a jovial mood given the squad came back from 10 down with less than three minutes remaining to win on T.J. McConnell’s frantic buzzer-beater.

While Embiid can no longer boast about the 76ers being undefeated in 2017 — which he did when the team won its first game after the calendar flipped — Philadelphia now sports a 3-1 record in the new year, although still sits with a 11-25 record.
But it appears things may be finally trending in the right direction in many respects for the Sixers after years of complete organizational dysfunction. Much of the positivity surrounding the squad stems from the emergence of Embiid, who is averaging 19.4 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.3 blocks per game in an All-Star caliber campaign.
Meanwhile, the hapless Knicks continue to spiral deeper and deeper into total dysfunction. The case could be made that it’s the Knicks, not the 76ers, who now are the laughingstocks of the NBA.
Something tells me Embiid would suggest a round of Shirley Temples and raise a toast for that development.
