Derek Carr, Latavius Murray take Raiders O-line to Warriors game (vid)
Derek Carr and Latavius Murray sure picked a great night to take the Oakland Raiders offensive line to a Golden State Warriors game. After all, it’s not every night a player goes off for 60 points … without even playing at all in the fourth quarter.
The Raiders quarterback and running back treated the lineman to courtside seats at Oracle Arena, meaning the crew had an up-close look at Klay Thompson dropping 60 points on the Indiana Pacers in a 142-106 throttling.

Donald Penn took to Instagram to post a video on behalf of his fellow lineman thanking Carr and Murray for the thoughtful gesture.
Carr even managed to get in on some hoops action, draining a three-point shot after the game during an impromptu shootaround.
Heck, Carr, one of the Bay Area’s rising sports stars, even posed for photograph with Kevin Durant’s mother.

The Raiders obviously are enjoying a breakthrough season at 10-2, due in large part to the offensive line’s stellar protection of Carr and effective blocking for Murray. It makes sense the two “big-name” players wanted to make sure the line understands how critical their contributions are to the team’s success.
