Dorial Green-Beckham supports nonexistent charity for #MyCauseMyCleats (pic)

Scores of NFL players took part in the league’s #MyCauseMyCleats campaign during Week 13 action. In almost all cases, everything went off without a hitch as players touted charities and organizations near and dear to their heart on their shoes. And then there was Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham.

As noted by NJ Advanced Media’s Eliot Shorr-Parks, by donning Adidas Yeezy Boost cleats — designed by Kanye West — Green Beckham’s purported charity of choice apparently was the Yeezy Foundation.

Unfortunately, there’s no such thing as the Yeezy Foundation. Oops.

At least Green-Beckham’s gaffe over a made-up charity seemingly came out of an innocent mistake or misunderstanding, not an attempt at deception. In other words, it’s not like George Costanza’s “The Human Fund” gambit here. In other words, it’s not case of “The Yeezy Foundation: Money for Kanye.”
