James Harrison announces he’s receiving another random drug test
Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison found himself in familiar position Thursday morning when he was notified the NFL has selected him to undergo another random drug test. But given the frequency in which said “random” drug tests occur for Harrison, he’s nothing but happy with the situation.
6th or 7th random test this year and some guys haven't been tested randomly at all… I wish I… https://t.co/1tdrVyICTd

“6th or 7th random test this year and some guys haven’t been tested randomly at all…,” Harrison wrote in an Instagram post Thursday morning. “I wish I had this much luck wt the lottery!!”
The photo included in Harrison’s post to Instagram showcases the correspondence alerting him to the random test.
This isn’t the first time — nor the second time, either — this year Harrison took to social media to argue that when it comes to the NFL’s random drug tests, his don’t seem to be all that random when compared to other players.
Harrison of course was one of the NFL players named in an Al Jazeera America report earlier this year and accused of using performance-enhancing drugs.
Harrison was one of the most vocal of the players to proclaim his innocence, not to mention the most active in questioning the NFL for its pursuit of the investigation. He earlier this summer provided the NFL with an affidavit in which he denied any PED use. He also seemed to mock the league by indicating he’d only agree to an interview with the NFL if it took place at his home.
Harrison ultimately was cleared of any wrongdoing following an NFL investigation that found “no credible evidence” that he had used PEDs.
But if one were to ask Harrison in light of Thursday’s events, he may suggest that the NFL is continuing to target him.
