Bill Belichick blasts reporter for ‘great’ Buttfumble question (vid)
Most people cannot help but laugh anytime the “Buttfumble” incident from a few years back is mentioned. But let’s just state the obvious and point out Bill Belichick is not most people.
The “Yakety Sax” soundtrack, while unnecessary given the absurdity of the play on its own merits, really adds to the inherent entertainment value.
Well, Tuesday marked the four-year anniversary of Mark Sanchez’s football blooper to end all football bloopers. Given the “Buttfumble” occurred during a Thanksgiving Day game between Belichick’s New England Patriots and Sanchez’s former squad, the New York Jets — not to mention the fact the Pats and Jets face-off this coming Sunday — an intrepid reporter thought it would be a great idea to ask Belichick about the infamous play.
That reporter made a grave mistake. Belichick demonstrated his classic Belichickian disdain for what he deems useless inquiries from the media by blasting said reporter for asking such a question.
Belichick was asked about the butt fumble. "I don't think we'll get to that."
Then sarcastically: "Great question though. That's awesome."

And here’s video of Belichick going all Belichick on the reporter.
Bill Belichick, folks.
