Odell Beckham Jr. to Randy Moss on jersey: ‘I’m comin’ for ya’ (pic)
Randy Moss is without question one of the best wide receivers in NFL history. One day — perhaps much sooner than later — Odell Beckham Jr. will join him in said pantheon of all-time great pass-catchers.
Prior to the New York Giants’ showdown with the Cincinnati Bengals on “Monday Night Football,” Moss, now an ESPN analyst, and Beckham exchanged autographed jerseys.
While exchanging jerseys is a common occurrence in today’s NFL between two current players, it’s somewhat unique for a former player to take part in the practice. And it set up a situation where Beckham sent a playful message of warning to Moss.
While Moss’ message to Beckham was a friendly one — it read, “To OBJ, Stay Focused, ‘Go Get It,’ Best wishes” along with his signature — the Giants wideout’s comments featured some not-so-subtle smack talk, tempered with a heavy dose of respect.

Beckham’s message read: “Believe it or not, you’ve taught me more than you can imagine. Thank you for reminding me to stay and be different. Can’t stop, won’t stop!! I’m comin’ for ya!! Luv! Bless!”
Beckham of course has a long way to go before he catches Moss from a statistical perspective. Moss had 982 receptions for 15,292 yards and 156 touchdowns in his brilliant career, putting him third all-time in receiving yards and second all-time in touchdowns.
Beckham, meanwhile, has caught 231 receptions for 3,431 yards and 30 touchdowns in two-plus seasons. During the Giants’ 21-20 victory Monday night, Beckham became the fastest receiver to reach 3,500 receiving yards, a mark achieved in only 35 career games.
Given Beckham’s rapid development into an elite wide receiver, it’s difficult to argue with the notion that one day he’ll be right up there with Moss.
