Paul George sends flowers to woman he fit in face with ball (pic)
Indiana Pacers superstar Paul George continues to make amends to a woman he hit in the face with a kicked basketball, sending her flowers and a note of apology.
The incident in question occurred during Saturday’s 111-94 victory over the Chicago Bulls. George, in a moment of frustration, kicked the ball into the baseline seats, accidentally hitting a woman directly in the face. George, who ultimately was ejected from the game for his outburst, quickly apologized for the act by going over to the woman to exchange a brief hug.

George’s regret over the incident must have been weighing on him, as FOX-59 in Indianapolis reports that he later sent flowers and a note of apology to the young woman.
A friend of the woman posted a note and photograph of the flowers to Facebook about George’s thoughtful gesture.
āIām sorry for the ball hitting you at the game on Saturday! It was not intentional,” the note read. “I hope you are feeling okay. Paul George.ā
In the Facebook post, the woman’s friend applauds George for the note and flowers, calling him a “class act.”
Indeed.
