Church tweets reminder to Cubs fans about honoring Game 7 promises
Plenty of praying was likely being done by countless Chicago Cubs fans as the team stood on the precipice of winning its first World Series in 108 years during Wednesday’s thrilling Game 7 against the Cleveland Indians. And an Illinois church took to Twitter to remind Cubs fans of the importance of honoring any promises made during an excruciatingly intense game in exchange for some Divine Intervention.
The Central Baptist Church, located in Springfield, Ill., used its social media arm to send the message.

If that reminder doesn’t put Cubs fans hind ends in the pews, nothing will.
