Nightmare fuel: Chicago postal worker streaks to celebrate Cubs win (vid)
DeAndre Barnes, a United States Postal Service mail handler from Chicago decided the only appropriate way to celebrate the Cubs breaking their century-plus championship curse was by … streaking.
And when we say “streaking,” we’re not talking about how anytime someone runs around like an idiot it’s called streaking. Nor are we referring to how George Costanza maintained his dignity by wearing a flesh-toned body suit, either. We’re talking about 1970s-esque, Ray Stevens-song kind-of-streaking.
Yep, Barnes recorded video of himself as naked as the day he was born running down the street, posting the footage to both Instagram and Facebook shortly after the Cubs’ thrilling, extra-inning, Game 7 triumph over the Cleveland Indians on Wednesday night.
Barnes did maintain some semblance of dignity by covering up his manhood with one hand while performing his celebratory streak. Nevertheless, the video below features some pretty risque footage. Viewer discretion is advised.
***** Once again, viewer discretion is strongly advised *****
Sweet Fancy Moses!
Here’s Barnes’ message, in all its emoji glory:
‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ new video alert ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️Yeaaaaaaaaaaah baaaaaaaaaaaby the Chicago Cubs are the 2016 World Series champions. And this how I celebrate ⚾️??⚾️??⚾️??⚾️ #worldserieschamps #bluenovember??????? ??????????? #butdataintmybidnesdoe like, view, comment, tag people and share share share share share share share share share share follow me on social media ??????????????????????????
Suffice to say, Barnes allowed his enthusiasm over the Cubs’ World Series victory cloud his judgment just a tad. And by that, the implication is that the odds are pretty good Mr. Barnes will be hearing from the USPS about this video.
