The Chicago Cubs are pulling out all the stops, relatively speaking, on social media to make sure their loyal fans can cheer on their beloved baseball team in Game 7 of the World Series without any limitations.

First, the Cubs official Twitter account posted a “super official excuse note” for fans to fill out and use as deemed necessary in order to properly support the team ahead of and during Wednesday’s decisive Game 7 World Series showdown with the Cleveland Indians.

The Cubs then even went above and beyond for one Cubs backer, personalizing an excuse note per his request so he could wear his Cubs hat at work.

Due to the apparent efforts of the Cubbies’ social media arm, Mr. Jacobi, to his relief, is sporting his Cubs cap.

Mission accomplished, indeed. Bravo, Cubs Twitter account and all those involved.
