Craigslist ad seeks help for struggling Vikings offensive line
The woeful play of an undermanned and struggling offensive line has been the primary cause behind the Minnesota Vikings two-game losing streak after starting the season 5-0. A presumably frustrated — not to mention snarky — Vikings fan posted an ad to Craigslist in Minneapolis in which help is sought for the profoundly ineffective unit.

The listing reads, via 1500 ESPN:
Desperately looking for someone to occupy either end of our offensive line to protect Sam Bradford and, if possible, open some holes for our running backs. Experience preferred but not needed. You are guaranteed at least 8 working days, possible more in January based on performance. YOU MUST WORK SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS! Unfortunately, due to salary cap limitations, we will be hiring on a volunteer basis only.
No calls please, emailed resumes and game tape only!
Interestingly — and likely by no mere coincidence — the supposed poster of the ad goes by the name “Rick,” possibly a sly reference to Vikings general manager Rick Spielman.
The Vikings without a doubt have to quickly shore up what has become an Achilles heel in the offensive line, as its play in both the running and passing games has been downright abysmal, especially in the past two weeks.
And with lineman dropping like flies ever since training camp and into the season — guard Alex Boone being the last one to go down during Monday’s 20-10 loss to the Chicago Bears — something must be done before the line’s atrocious play sinks what only two weeks ago seemed like an incredibly promising Vikings season.
