Sens’ Erik Karlsson owns Halloween again with ‘Black Swan’ costume (pic)
Ottawa Senators defenseman Erik Karlsson for the second year in a row is the NHL’s best-costumed player thanks to a brilliant costume inspired by Natalie Portman’s character in the 2010 film “Black Swan.”
Karlsson’s amazing transformation into a dark-and-disturbed ballerina was posted to Instagram by Melinda Currey, a young woman who assumes the role of Mila Kunis in the motion picture.
Amazing. And somewhat spooky to boot.
As noted, dominating the Halloween costume game is nothing new to Karlsson. The 26-year-old Swede received rave reviews for dressing up as Ursula the Sea Witch from Disney’s “The Little Mermaid.”
Well done. Well done, indeed.
