Carson Wentz’s NDSU creates Eagles-inspired Bison logo (pic)
North Dakota State University had some fun with its logo on social media to celebrate how Carson Wentz inspired NFL fans to take notice of the usually unheralded football school.
The official Twitter account of the Bison football program posted a distinctly Philadelphia Eagles take on its traditional team logo.

Fly, Eagles, Fly, indeed. It’s like putting wings on a buffalo. Or something.
And with the news that Wentz’s former Bison teammate, cornerback C.J. Smith, had been promoted by the Eagles from the practice squad to the active roster? Well, let’s just say the Bison community is downright giddy.
Wentz, who grew up in nearby Bismarck, returned to Fargo during the Eagles’ bye week and made quite the splash by leaving a $500 tip on a $1,000 tab at local hangout Herd & Horns.
Suffice to say, said bar will definitely be showing the Eagles’ showdown with the division rival Washington Redskins on Sunday. But not only to cheer on local legend Wentz, but Smith as well.
