Tom Brady on ‘Fake Brady’ mask: ‘Probably the creepiest thing I’ve ever seen’
Tom Brady, like every other person confronted with laying eyes on it, has been left profoundly disturbed by the “Fake Tom Brady” mask that has become a haunting sensation early on in the NFL season.
The disconcertingly lifelike and surprisingly realistic mask first made its appearance when the New England Patriots traveled to Glendale to take on the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1.

The “Fake Tom Brady” mask quickly became a sensation, taking on a life of its own. It turned into morning news show fodder on the “TODAY” program. And just last Sunday, it was donned by former Brady teammate Wes Welker outside of Gillette Stadium ahead of the Patriots’ showdown with the Miami Dolphins.

Brady, who is currently serving his four-game Deflategate suspension, was asked about the mask Monday during his weekly radio appearance on Westwood One.
“I spent a little time with [Welker] on Sunday morning, he showed it to me.” Brady told Jim Gray. “It was probably the creepiest thing I’ve ever seen.”
