Kings unleash DeMarcus Cousins on ‘Madden,’ results are frightening (vid)
DeMarcus Cousins stands an imposing 6-foot-11 and 270 pounds, so on “National Video Games Day,” the Sacramento Kings turned their fiery superstar into an NFL running back and unleashed him upon the world of “Madden NFL 17.”
The Kings posted video to Twitter of the highlights from Cousins’ transformation from dominant center to neophyte running back.
Suffice to say, the results were frightening, as Boogie’s got some backfield boogie — and a vulgar display of power running.

On several plays, Cousins cannot be taken down, although on the first play highlighted in the video, former portly NBA center Oliver Miller could have trucked through that hole and busted one for a long touchdown.
Despite virtual running back DeMarcus Cousins being a backfield force to be reckoned with in the world of football video games, let’s just say the money is far too good in the NBA for him to risk his health by trying to become the world’s next dominant two-sport athlete. Nor has he ever expressed any inclination to do so anyway.
