Bengals’ Corey Tindal robbed at gunpoint during poker game

Cincinnati Bengals rookie cornerback Corey Tindal was robbed at gunpoint during a poker game at a motel, as first reported by the Huntington Herald-Dispatch.

Tindal and a man he knew were playing poker at a Super 8 Motel along with two men known only by their nicknames when one of the unidentified men brandished a semi-automatic pistol, pointed it at the victims and said, “Lay down and give me all the money,” per an incident report from the Cabell County Sheriff’s Office.

At this point, the armed suspect struck Tindal twice on the head with the barrel of the gun.

The incident report states that the suspects made off $2,400 cash, three cell phones and a set of rental car keys.

Tindal previously played poker with the two men last weekend. They have not yet been apprehended but are believed to be from the Detroit area.

Tindal, a three-year player at Marshall, went undrafted but was signed by the Bengals following a May rookie mini-camp.
