LeBron James congratulates Timofey Mozgov on Lakers deal

While the rest of the NBA world is left genuinely stupefied by reports indicating the Los Angeles Lakers will sign Timofey Mozgov to a four-year, $64 million deal, one of his former Cleveland Cavaliers teammates has instead decided to congratulate him.

None other than LeBron James took to Twitter Friday morning to express his happiness for the center and his substantial financial windfall … only with one caveat.

This isn’t the first time James has let bygones be bygones when it comes to a former teammate joining another team. Albeit under far different circumstances, James said he had no issue with Anderson Varejao signing with the Golden State Warriors after being released by the Cavaliers. James did, however, have an interesting reaction to when Varejao gushed over joining his new team.

James doesn’t appear too concerned over Mozgov’s departure — if he in fact remains with the Cavs as expected — although that might be due in part to the grand old time he’s currently having off the coast of Spain with a couple of his best NBA buddies, during which he was spotted rocking a rather interesting shirt.
