Knicks delete tweets trolling Bulls with Derrick Rose highlight vids

The weisenheimers operating the New York Knicks official Twitter account perhaps were having too much fun while gleefully celebrating the acquisition of Derrick Rose.

So much so, in fact, that cooler heads prevailed — presumably courtesy of folks higher up on the Knicks food chain — as the arguably trolling tweets were later deleted.

One of the tweets, a minute-plus long video featured footage of the players acquired by Bulls in the trade — Robin Lopez, Jose Calderon and Jerian Grant — getting outplayed by Rose.

Here’s a screenshot of the first deleted tweet, courtesy of ESPN:

Another tweet posted Thursday morning also was deleted:

The Knicks presumably feel they got the better end of the deal, and rightfully so. Though it might not be a good idea for an official social media account to troll the team who was supposedly victimized in the deal.
