Kirk Cousins loves how kid used ‘You like that!’ as yearbook quote (pic)

Kirk Cousins endeared himself to Washington Redskins fans — not to mention became the star of a viral video — when he shouted “You like that! You like that!” into a camera while leaving the field after the team beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-24 early last season.

The quote since then has taken on a life of its own in countless ways, shapes and forms, with Cousins even filing a trademark for his popular catchphrase.

And now, much to Cousins’ amusement, a high school student and big-time Redskins backer utilized the quarterback’s rallying cry as his yearbook quote.

Washington-Lee senior Joseph Langley recently posted a photo on Instagram of his yearbook photo and accompanying Cousins quote, on which the Redskins quarterback was tagged in the comments section.

Cousins somehow caught wind of Langley’s tribute and tweeted out his appreciation for the interesting use of his now-famous triumphant exclamation.

Langley responded in kind, obviously blown away that Cousins took notice.

When asked exactly why he decided to use Cousins’ catchphrase as his yearbook quote, Langley explained it as follows:

“I had to do it,” Langley told The Washington Post. “My family lives off Redskins football, and any way I could translate that into my senior yearbook, I would do it.”

And here we are.
