The Miami Heat and Toronto Raptors will play in pivotal Game 5 showdown Wednesday night at Air Canada Centre. A 3-2 lead is on the line in what many pundits and experts have labeled as a pretty ugly series, albeit an entertaining one.

Injuries to key players on both teams — not to mention the shooting woes of Kyle Lowry specifically and other players on both squads more generally —  have contributed to what has been at times a fairly brutal series from an aesthetic standpoint.

One player who has rose above the ugliness of it all is Dwyane Wade, who has been an utter revelation throughout the playoffs. In this series alone, the 34-year-old superstar is averaging 27.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game. In 11 games this postseason, Wade has shot a stupefying 61 percent from beyond the arc while converting at a 48 percent clip overall from the field.

With all that in mind, Wade perhaps is the best person to explain what has caused this series to devolve into at times an unwatchable mess. And the reason Wade came up with is quite simple, not to mention colorful to boot:

Tight buttcheeks.

There you have it.
