Jaguars, Panthers engage in Twitter ‘catfight’ on Earth Day
The Jacksonville Jaguars and Carolina Panthers got downright catty — albeit in a playful way — with one another on social media after the Florida-based NFL team issued a tweet to celebrate Earth Day.

Not willing to take a catnap and avoid responding in kind to its fellow feline-friendly — in name, at least — NFL brethren, the Panthers offered up the following observation on Twitter.

As noted by ESPN’s Mike DiRocco, the spirited-but-cordial social media exchange got downright adorable, with the respective NFL teams shooting feline-themed tweets that included pics and GIFS of kittens, cat puns and the like.
