Chicago Cubs welcome real cubs to spring training (pics)
The Chicago Cubs have turned spring training into a circus sideshow courtesy of some off-the-wall antics — mimes, anyone? — to help break up the monotony and keep the club loose. Well, what is a circus without some real, live bears?
And fittingly, said bears were of the young variety, as two baby cubs made the rounds at Sloan Park in Mesa, Ariz.
Several media members along with some players took to social media to document the adorable goings-on.

Well, that’s about too adorable for words. And to say the Cubs — as led by Joe Maddon, who turned odd team-building exercises and other assorted antics into a cottage industry during his successful tenure with the Tampa Bay Rays — are feeling pretty loosey-goosey right now might be a tremendous understatement.
