Ned Yost pays price for breaking concrete blocks with bare hands (pic)
Kansas City Royals skipper Ned Yost was left with a noticeable gash on his left forearm and bruises and scabs on his knuckles after he broke some concrete blocks with his bare hands as part of an appearance by a motivational speaker.

Donnie Moore, the motivational speaker in question, has paid previous visits to the Royals and part of his most recent presentation involved him accomplishing seemingly impossible feats, such as shredding a telephone book or ripping a license plate in half.
“It’s fun,” Yost said, via a Kansas City Star report. “Donnie Moore is a great speaker. He’s been with us for a couple of years doing this. He actually did one for us (at) Game 5 of the World Series in 2014, which was really cool. He came back and did it last spring and did it again this spring. We love having him here.”
Outside of Yost proving that he can indeed “handle all the feats of strength” — as he put it — he also explained how he was able to break the concrete blocks.
“You’ve got to power down through it, that’s for sure,” he said. “Nothing to it.”
So he says.
