Broncos player says he tried to rub his genitals in Tom Brady’s face
The Denver Broncos defense bruised and battered Tom Brady throughout Sunday’s 20-18 victory in the AFC Championship Game, but one player now is openly bragging about how he tried to engage in some outlandish — and unsportsmanlike — post-play shenanigans as a means to taunt the New England Patriots quarterback.
An unidentified Broncos defensive player told MMQB’s Robert Klemko that he intentionally attempted to rub his genitals in Brady’s face after plays.
“I tried to lay on him a few times,” said one Broncos player following the victory, by way of The Big Lead. “I tried to rub my nuts on his face.”
The manner in which the Broncos’ fierce pass rush victimized Brady during the game probably should have been enough. But it’s clear that Denver’s defenders — or at least one of them — felt it necessary to add insult to injury with such crude hijinks.
Football players often discuss how ugly it can get it in the bottom of a pile during a scrum for a loose ball, with biting and all sorts of cretinous behavior being done. Who knew putting one’s crotch in an opposing player’s face was considered fair game?
Or maybe it isn’t.
