Christmas Tree vendor’s sign trolls Philadelphia Eagles (pic)

Just because it’s the holidays doesn’t mean Philadelphia Eagles fans are in a festive mood as it relates to the team’s enormously disappointing season. And at least one business presumably in the Philadelphia area is using its role as a purveyor of what helps define Christmas for many people to troll the team for its 4-7 record and three-game losing streak, specifically the role the players that comprise the roster.

After two relatively successful opening seasons with Chip Kelly as the team’s head coach with identical 10-6 seasons, the Eagles have backslid into mediocrity at best, a development that coincided with Kelly essentially being given control of football operations, with little to no oversight, especially related to player personnel matters. Perhaps his biggest gaffe arguably was his decision to bring in Sam Bradford to run his mad scientist-designed offense … and the results have been underwhelming at best.

Despite much speculation and conjecture that Kelly could be on his way out of Philadelphia, he has told his players that he intends to remain with the Eagles so long as the organization will have him.

But according to this Christmas Tree lot’s sign, perhaps said players shouldn’t even be on the team.
