Broncos fire back at trolling Tom Brady on Facebook after win
The Denver Broncos had a little fun at Tom Brady’s expense on Facebook following the team’s 30-24 overtime victory Sunday night, but only after the New England Patriots’ quarterback trolled them first on the social media site.
Before the Patriots and Broncos took the field at Sports Authority Field at Mile High, Brady took to Facebook on Sunday to post a Photoshop of him riding a bronco, suggesting the then-undefeated Patriots would have their way with the host Broncos.
“8:30pm #SNF #letsgoooooo,” Brady wrote in a post that has been liked over 100,000 times and shared over 32,000 times.
The Broncos, riding high following the thrilling victory, similarly took to Facebook to troll Brady right back, posting a Photoshop of the quarterback laying on his back after getting bucked by the bronco he was supposedly taming.
“Clever Facebook post, Tom Brady,” the post read. “But we’ve made an edit after tonight’s win.”
For comparison purposes, Denver’s Facebook dose of comeuppance has since been liked over 76,00o times and shared over 30,000 times in a lot less time than Brady’s initial post has been up.
And just for the record, this isn’t the first time Brady has trolled an opponent who has a horse-themed mascot in this exact same manner. Ahead of New England’s showdown with the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Championship Game last season, Brady posted a Photoshop of himself riding a colt. Suffice to say, things played out much better for Brady and the Patriots on that occasion.
