Massive Jordan Spieth mosaic created using 24,152 golf balls (pic)
Jordan Spieth had a season for the ages, without a doubt, and a massive tribute to his accomplishments — courtesy of one of his endorsement partners — was recently created in his hometown of Dallas, Tex.
AT&T Inc. on Wednesday unveiled an awe-inspiring mosaic of the 22-year-old golf phenom that was constructed out of 24,152 golf balls placed on tees.
With the green grass utilized as negative space, the mosaic required the work of 25 individuals, resulting in an impressive portrait of the reigning PGA Tour Player of the Year who won the first two legs of the Grand Slam in taking the Masters and U.S. Open in impressive fashion.
Video of the mosaic’s construction follows.
The mosaic will be open to the public for two days but deconstruction is scheduled to take place Thursday evening. Pretty impressive stuff.
