Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock left in awe of Yoenis Cespedes’ homer (pic)
Jerry Seinfeld, a rabid, longtime, dyed-in-the-wool New York Mets fan and pal Chris Rock had distinctly different but completely appropriate reactions upon witnessing Yoenis Cespedes’ majestic and massive 431-foot bomb of a home run in Monday’s 13-7 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 3 of the NLDS.
In other words, shock and awe.

Fantastic reactions, indeed.
Statcast calculated that Cespedes’ rocket shot left the bat at an incredible 110.7 mph.
Seinfeld greeted Cespedes’ arrival on the Mets with a tweet that was distinctly … Seinfeld-ian. He later invited the Cespedes out for Cuban sandwiches during an amusing Twitter exchange. Nothing as of yet on Twitter from the devout Cespedes loyalist regarding the slugger’s moon shot.
